Our intent
At Coleby C.E. Primary School, our intention is to encourage pupils to develop their interest and enthusiasm for learning other languages. We aim to introduce the learning of the French language and the understanding of its culture in an interactive and stimulating way. We will inspire children to read and write in French with confidence, fluency and understanding. Ultimately, we strive to embed the key building blocks of language, ensuring that the children have a solid understanding of French grammar.
