Geography
Our intent
At Coleby Primary School, our intent is that geography will inspire in children a curiosity and fascination about the world and its people. Our teaching will equip children with knowledge about places, people, resources and environments. Children will develop a deep understanding of the Earth’s key physical and human processes and the interaction between these, as well as the formation and use of landscapes and environments. We aim that the geographical knowledge, understanding and skills will enable children to understand how the Earth’s features are shaped, interconnected and change over time.
